OUR LEADERSHIP
Raaj Baskaran
Co-Founder and President
Raaj Baskaran is Co-Founder and President of Summit TRC. His career began in the commercial industry as a software engineer and project manager, later migrating into the defense industry. Mr. Baskaran’s extensive experience in the commercial industry provides a unique perspective on how to purpose commercial efficiencies for the defense industry. Mr. Baskaran received his Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Alabama in Huntsville.
Nathan Lawrence
Co-Founder and Vice President
Nathan Lawrence is Co-Founder and Vice President of Summit TRC. He has demonstrated experience creating solutions across multiple domains in both technical and leadership roles. Prior to Summit TRC, Mr. Lawrence served as a civilian for the United States Army’s Aviation & Missile Research, Development, and Engineering Center (AMRDEC) supporting modeling and simulation efforts in the Tactical Missiles Branch, and as an engineer within AMRDEC supporting RF algorithm development, modeling and simulation, and IIR & RF target modeling. Mr. Lawrence received his Bachelor of Science and additional graduate studies in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Alabama in Huntsville.
Daniel Bauermeister
Director of Weapon Systems
Daniel Bauermeister is Director of Weapon Systems at Summit TRC. He has over forty years of experience in the defense industry and is a recognized subject matter expert in the areas of precision guided weapon design, multi-sensor seeker and tracking design, and hardware-in-the-loop (HWIL) simulations. Mr. Bauermeister has previously acted as Chief Engineer, Manager of Systems Engineering, SEI&T Lead, Principal Investigator, Lead and Senior Systems Engineer for a variety of programs at Northrop Grumman, Raytheon, Westinghouse Electric, and General Electric. Mr. Bauermeister received his Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from Syracuse University and Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Purdue University.
